Corinne’s “perfectionism” proved quite useful when she spent a year in service at the Baha’i World Centre in Haifa, Israel.

“Service is a core part of my religious community (and Abacus philosophy). During my time in Israel, I worked on a janitorial crew of five people from five different continents. It was one of the hardest—and best—year of my life. Everything had to be pristine. We made certain it was.”

There have been more recent additions to Corinne’s list of strengths. “It’s amazing how much a three-year-old can teach you about the importance of patience. And feeling the delight he gets in small things—from garbage day to construction equipment and library book day—is a good lesson for all of us.”
