Duties & Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide support to the Founder and leadership team of the firm.

  • Partner with the Founder: Setting her professional and personal schedule, managing day-today administrative functions, and communicating by email and phone on her behalf to multiple constituents.
  • Support Abacus’s leadership team: Administrative tasks related to minutes, organizing offsite meetings, and other administrative duties.
  • Develop information and insights: Assist in preparing the leadership team for meetings and events.
  • Assist the Founder: Organizing and executing entertainment, travel responsibilities, and local and national board commitments.
  • Organize and execute: Abacus events.
  • Provide support to the Founder: Organize philanthropic and charitable endeavors.
  • Provide leadership and delegation: Collaborate with interns regarding the founder’s personal and general requests.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics or related experience
  • 1+ year of experience in client service and/or operations in the financial services industry (preferably with an independent registered investment advisory firm)

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
  • Experience with CRM, document management, and portfolio accounting software (preferred)
